Divorce

Standing empty

bare and exposed

dizzy at the top

of the highest mountain ever have I climbed.

The wind blowing

blows thru me.

I hear it rattle

   round my ribcage.

Stretched... tight

my soul

Pulled by forces bigger than I.

Hide

laid out

to dry in the sun.

Parched

I feel myself cracking.
