Woman Speak

Thoughts

of all the men

who have entered me

thrust

deep

into my life

splitting me in half

with the force of themselves.

And where are they now?

Do they carry cracks

on their soul

as I do?

In the back pockets of their memories

do they carry a sight of me

a taste of me

that will not be forgotten?

Or has it all been washed away

by the white warm come that's flowed

since those long ago nights

when they crashed into my body

leaving dents

in my mind.
